2011-2016: She has worked 5 years with a Chinese family living in 2 storey house. She was taking of 3 children age 6,8,10 years old and did cooking and general housekeeping.

Singapore

2019-2025: She her 6 years contract with a Chinese family living in a flat. She is taking care of a 86 years old elderly and does cooking, grocery shopping and general housekeeping. Elderly has passed away.

Currently she is looking after a 98 years old bedridden elderly. Employer's reference: Bertha has worked for my family for 2 weeks. She is pleasant and smart in her work. I employed her primarily to look after my elderly mother who is bedridden. All her daily activities need to be fully taken care of.
Although Bertha had 6 years of prior experience looking after elderly person with in her previous employment, she is unable to transfer my mother confidently from the bed to wheelchair. My current helper of 6 years is leaving at the end of the month, hence, I cannot risk to have a replacement caregiver that cannot handle my mother’s condition. I believe that with relevant training and time, Bertha would be competent in handling but I do not have the time in my current circumstances. I would recommend her to work with another family where the elderly is partially or fully mobile as she can communicate well and is patient with elderly.
